5 REMARKABLE PEOPLE & THE GIFT

Rather than writing an intention, I want to share with you what happened before I flew off to Austin, Texas.

_______________

I guess, on that particular morning, I woke up with an intention to spontaneously stop whenever I felt like it.

_______________

I was off to New Paltz, NY to do something. On my way, I saw 5 remarkable people. Yes! 5 REMARKABLE PEOPLE walking along the road. Three were clearly Buddhist monks as they wearing their particular attire that identified them. Two were simply in jeans. The woman was the "leader" caring a large sign that said PEACE.

Something told me to STOP and turn the car around. I felt a strong urge to talk to them, give them some money and encouragement. So I did just that.

I turned the car around, jumped out and ran to them waving my arms to let them know I'm a friend. They were so nice and kind to me. I gave one monk my donation (which, by the way, they were not asking for anything) and we all started talking. The reason for the walk was to make a gentle statement about PEACE. They were walking from Saratoga, NY to NYC, which is quite a long walk.

The woman said that they were so pleased that I was friendly as so many drivers honked, make derogatory remarks, and generally were not nice. I couldn't believe that anyone would do that to such kind people.

Finally, I knew I needed to go on and that they were anxious to get started again. But before I left, they gave me a gift. It was two paper cranes tied on a string - one under the other - and a piece of paper with a chant written in both English and Asian.

I looked at the chant written in English and then I looked that them in amazement. I told them that that particular chant is the one I have been chanting for weeks and as I was walking out my door, I was chanting those very words! Was I surprised! I looked at them and told them that we were meant to meet.

I got back in my car and felt an overwhelming sense of Spirit, of Love, and the Gift of the Chant. The feeling of gratefulness was overwhelming - The Gift of the Chant and meeting these kind people will be with me forever.

Here is the chant: Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo

I don't know what it means - but who cares? It brought us together and I received a very, very special gift!

Welcome to my blog!

It is my intention to inspire you to ACHIEVE your hearts desire while experiencing meaning and purpose in your life! I will be writing a series of articles that relate to intention. Many of them will have easy exercises/visualizations that may be helpful in your journey through self-discovery. Don't forget to check out my book which is filled with information, exercises, intentions from A-Z and so much more. In it, I reveal a lot of what has happened in my unique life and what has brought me to the place I am now. You can purchase my book through Amazon and all major bookstores.

And now let’s focus on Intention…

Magical Intention:
I intend that I am open to Magical Intentions that empower me to achieve a purposeful and successful life NOW

Lately I've been thinking about how I need to go back to basics. I feel that I've diverted from my real intention and that is to inspire others to understand and create intentions that have true meaning and purpose. We all want to be rich, successful, beautiful, slim, successful achievers, etc. etc. etc. These things can be accomplished but one must understand where each intention is coming from. Is it from the heart? Or is it from fear?

Fear that there will not be enough, or that "I'm not slim enough, young enough, old enough, pretty enough, intelligent enough, etc., etc. etc."

Have you ever noticed how successful people say "you can be successful - look at me?" And you're thinking, "easy for him/her to

say that... they aren't walking in my shoes." I don't know how many times I've thought the very same thing.

But lately, I've been reassessing my life (one more time) and realize that those very people have something different about them that I don't have.

What I believe it is - is Magic - AND IT IS NOT A SECRET!

Knowing your magical intentions can change your life. But remember, as with so many things, change happens and those intentions, as you move forward, may change and morph into something greater.

So think Magic when you are writing or thinking your intentions.

For example - when you get up in the morning there is a pattern that you use to wake yourself up, to move, to do what you do in the morning. We all have our patterns and don't even notice them half the time. So, in noticing, you can find the magic. The magic is called "being grateful." Being grateful that you can even get up, or see, or brush your teeth. Do you see where I'm coming from?

I was also thinking today - how amazing that our cells know how to join together to make a human being, how the trees know to grow and develop leaves in the spring and lose them in the winter, how the clouds move and create beautiful artwork. There is natural MAGIC everywhere!

So, this is what I've been doing lately, especially as I walk my adorable wire-haired terrier, Meadow. I look around me and think

"MAGIC HAPPENS! YES!" The "YES"

is telling my subconscious mind that it means exactly what I am saying.

Creating intentions is about having a purposeful life and reprogramming your subconscious mind to grasp that you mean it by saying "that I Am."

So don't think of writing an intention as something you HAVE to do, but as part of your MAGICAL LIFE here on Mother Earth. She is sharing her space with you through your magical life.

THINK:

MAGIC HAPPENS!

Think PURPOSE • Think LIFE!

I intend that I am open to Magical Intentions that empower me to achieve a purposeful and successful life NOW!

YES!
